ATLANTA IMPRESSIVE AT BERRY!
Rome, Ga. – The men’s and women’s track team put on an impressive performance this past Friday night under the lights at Berry College. Several of the Bees obtained personal best times or season best efforts. Max Golema and Adrian Monzon put together special efforts as they ran 15:41 and 15:45 respectively in the 5000M. Emily Kearney also continued to run well as she ran a 17:25 5000M and earned a berth to the Outdoor Nationals Championships as her time qualified under the “A Standard”. Kearney now has a top 10 time in the nation in the 1500M and 5000M at the NAIA level. Other notable performances were: Gabrielle Robinson in the 1500 (5:29.83), Olivia Babeu in the 5000M (19:33) and Maddie Mullen who was the first SCAD Atlanta athlete to tackle the 10000M on the track and she did not disappoint as she won the women’s 10000M in a time of 41:06.38.
